Newtonian Telescope

  I failed in finding a vendor who could make a concave mirror for me. I tried grinding my own mirror but I couldnt find the right grit. The care package never got to me. As the time passed I got desperate. I couldnt afford the telescopes available here in Pakistan as their prices were inflated 3 times their cost. So I asked one of my friend to bring his telescope from America as he was not using it anymore. It was a cheap scope but better than anything I could ever find here in Pakistan.

  In late Dec 2005,my friend (ALI) brought the telescope for me. It was a 3" Newtonian with 20mm eyepiece and a barlow lens. In the last 3 months I have used it to look at Saturn, Jupiter, Moon, some star clusters, Mars etc.
